I am Daiga, a natural and documentary-style wedding videographer based in Nottingham and I film weddings at Grangefields in Derbyshire. Grangefields is a luxury barn venue near Ashbourne, part of the historic Trusley Estate and run by Cripps. The spaces at Grangefields

Ceremony

You can exchange vows by candlelight in the Oak Room, with its exposed oak beams and red brick walls, or outdoors under the sky in the sheltered courtyard.

Reception

The Dutch Barn is the heart of Grangefields, with an open show kitchen complete with BBQ, French rotisserie and pizza oven. The sheltered courtyard is lovely for reception drinks, and the open fire pits come into their own later in the evening.

Getting Ready Space

Grange House, the venue’s on-site cottage, offers a perfect getting ready space for the bridal party. Tucked away in the far corner it ensures you have a complete privacy.

Whilst Grangefields doesn’t have an onsite accommodation, there are plenty of options to choose from nearby.

Filming weddings at Grangefields

I am a recommended videographer at Grangefields, so I know the venue, its team and the way the light moves through the barn across the day. That means less time working out logistics and more time capturing your wedding as it happens.

My films are natural and documentary in style, built around real moments rather than staged set-ups. I film quietly with small cameras, record proper sound from your ceremony and speeches, and edit it all into a film that feels like your day, with a little humour where it fits. I have been filming weddings for over seven years.

Photography and videography together

Grangefields is part of Cripps & Co and is located, near Ashbourne in Derbyshire about 20 minutes from Derby and 40 minutes from Nottingham and within easy reach of Derby.

Yes, I have been on Grangefields recommended supplier list for about 5 years, since it opened and am also recommended by several other Cripps venues too. Including Dorfold Hall, Hazel Gap Barn, Thorpe Gardens.

I have packages for all day coverage, starting from £1800 for videography only. If you’d like joint photo/video coverage, then a full day starts at £3000. If you are getting married on an off peak date or have different requirements then do get in touch. We’ll do our very best to customise a package to suit.

The industry average for videographer is 3-4 months. However I understand how keen you will be to relive your day, so I aim to deliver all off my films within 6-8 weeks and content creation clips within 24 hours/the next working day.
