Hazel Gap Barn areal view

This old red brick barn has been converted in contemporary wedding venue. Hazel Gap Barn is known for its amazing food cooked on open fire, fire pits and secluded countryside setting. This wedding venue has a cozy and warm feel to it even in the midst of winter.

As you enter the ceremony barn , you will instantly notice the large oak timbers and an imposing fireplace at the end. The ceremony barn also features two giant candelabras and candlelit lanterns. This helps to create a warm and cosy atmosphere even in the middle of winter.

Hazel Gap Barn is known as one of the best barn wedding venues in Nottingham area. The entire site including the watch towers and courtyard have been carefully restored and transformed into rustic wedding venue. It has a reputation for amazing food, great staff and a cosy yet modern feel.

Tie the knot

This venue is known for it's amazing food. Sourced from local farmers and cooked on hand-made rotisserie - it is delicious!

Once it gets dark another of Hazel Gap's features comes to life- the outdoor fire pits in the courtyard. They are perfect for toasting some marshmallows or just keeping warm!

Hazel Gap Barn hasn't got accommodation on site but there are plenty of excellent guest houses and hotels in vicinity. However, because of the rural location I would recommend pre-booking transport so guests are not waiting around at the end of the party.

Are you looking for a wedding videographer with natural style? Or maybe you would love to have a wedding film, but don't like posing and don't want to spend hours way from your guests? Or maybe you just want to remember your wedding day for what it actually was - you know the real moments, those that turn into best memories ever.

My style is very natural and warm. I value real moments over staged things. People always come before things in my videos. There are no fancy slider moves, pointless slow motion or countless shots of table decorations. Instead there are plenty of real moments, real emotions, real joy and a bit of humour too.

When you watch your film years or even decades later it won't matter how each decoration looked like. But the people you love will always matter. Some of them will be gone, others grown up or changed, but the memories you made together will be forever captured.

Real. Raw. Authentic.

Nottingham wedding videograpoher

I have been filming wedding for over 7 years and have worked with a variety of clients. The weddings that I have been lucky to record range from multi-day high end events to intimate home weddings with only the nearest and dearest.

On a wedding day I like to keep my gear to minimum. There are no big rigs or huge cameras. In fact, for most of the day I tend to film handheld. (Apart from ceremony and speeches). Guests often think that I am a photographer and don't even realise that I'm actually filming.

I could spend ages talking about how I work and why I like making wedding videos, but it's probably better if you simply watch some of my films and make your own mind up. And if you like what you see please get in touch with me.
