A video from Sarah and Scott’s wedding at Goosedale wedding venue in Papplewick, Nottingham.
Sarah and Scott knew each other through their friends but it took while for them to get together. Since at least one of them was always in another relationship, it was never the right time. But everything happens for a reason and becoming good friends first gave them an opportunity to get to know each other.
Eventually the time was right, they were both single and decided to go on a date. The pair soon discovered that they share the same sense of humour, love of travelling and good food. Scott even managed to convince Sarah to get a cat despite her fear of all animals. (She absolutely loves Reggie now!)
It soon became apparent that they are meant for each other and Scott asked his mum to secretly obtain Sarah’s ring size. Although Scott was not too impressed about her method he got the right size and proposed.
The bride and groom picked Goosedale in Nottingham as their venue and started to plan the wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception took place in the garden rooms. It was a nice and sunny day allowing the happy couple and their guests to make most of the gardens and the weather.
The wedding day started at Sarah’s parent’s house. While the girls were getting ready the father of bride took to the garden to find some peace, read a paper and enjoy the sunshine. Eventually the bride was ready. The new couple had picked a campervan as their wedding car and when it turned up to take the bridal party to the venue things started to feel real.
The groom and all the guests were already there, and Scott was fighting back tears as Sarah walked down the aisle. He managed to hold it together though (just about)! It wasn’t long before the official par was over and it was time to party.
