A video from Meghna & Sam’s wedding at Aston Hall in Sheffield. Meghna and her bridesmaids got ready in two of the Aston Hall bridal suites. Meghna had picked a traditional Indian dress for the first part of the day and a stunning red gown for the evening. Since the church is located right next to the hotel, once the bride was ready she could just walk there.
In order to honour both of their cultures Meghna and Sam decided to have two different wedding ceremonies. The first one took place at All Saints Church in Aston where Meghna and Sam made their vows in front of their friends and family. After the Christian ceremony the newlyweds drove off to have a moment for themselves whilst all the guests walked over to the Aston Hall Hotel.
When Meghna and Sam got back it was time for a short Indian ceremony in the Aston Hall gardens. This was led by Meghna’s father Vijay whilst her sister Juhi explained the traditions to Sam’s side of family. Luckily the weather held out and whilst it was a bit chilly it was still a nice and sunny spring day.
The wedding reception took place in the Virage, that was beautifully decorated with plenty of flowers in red and white. Later in the evening Meghna’s bridesmaids along with some of the guests performed a dance routine that they had prepared specially for the happy couple. At the end of it everyone joined the performers on the dance floor and partied the night away.
