Old Vicarage, Nottinghamshire

A video from Kim and Matt’s wedding at the Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Nottingham.

Kim and Matt met 12 years ago in a nightclub in Mansfield. Matt went to said nightclub a week before with his friend and for whatever reason decided to order a keyring. However, as the night went on and drinks were flowing he soon forgot about all about the keyring and left without it.

Matt decided to go back the next weekend after and claim it then. The nightclub was really quiet that evening. Nevertheless, Matt spotted a girl stomping across the dancefloor and instantly took a liking to her. He plucked up all his courage, went up to her and asked “Have you seen the photographer? I would like to get my keyring….” Little did he know that he just met his future wife!

Kim and Matt love spending time with each other, whether it is a music gig, beer festival or just exercising together they are always happy in each other’s company.  A very important part of their family are their two rabbits Sandy and Daisy. In fact, one of Matt’s presents for Kim to open in the morning before the wedding was two handmade sculptures of Sandy and Daisy.

When it came to wedding planning the happy couple chose Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Southwell as their wedding venue. It was the perfect place for their plans for an intimate wedding.

For Matt and Kim, their wedding was as much about tying the knot as it was to spend lots of time with their friends and family, enjoying good food and drink and dancing to the band.
