When David first saw his beautiful new neighbour he instantly fell for her, however Lisa wasn’t so sure what to make of this young man constantly gazing over the fence.

However, eventually David managed to win over her heart and they were married at the stunning Hazel Gap Barn in Nottinghamshire.

It was great to be back.  Recently the weather was awful but Lisa & David were lucky enough to have what must have been the sunniest day of the year so far.  I was so pleased to be their Hazel Gap Barn wedding videographer and capture the love of this amazing couple.

After the wedding ceremony at the old barn Lisa and David went for a little drive in their wedding car and while they were gone some of David’s colleagues turned up …. with the fire engine. This provided a unique backdrop for the group photos and it was certainly a first for No Ordinary Films.

The day followed with the happy couple and guests enjoying the sunshine around the courtyard and toasting marshmallows in the fire pits. We took Lisa and David to the nearby woods to do some portraits in the bluebells and it soon became apparent how much these two lovebirds like to mess around with each other.

Lisa and David had brought loads of sparklers with them so when it got dark we handed them out to all the guests and managed to capture some really stunning footage. Later in the night some of the guests gathered around the fire pits whilst others were dancing the night away. Hazel Gap Barn has really special feel to it after dark.
